Trips

Our walks span several countries and many themes but they all contain the basic elements that make travel in western Europe exciting and rewarding. Many of the trips have a distinct theme, perhaps a pilgrimage route or the life of an historical figure, but regardless of the focus of the trip we love to explore a region through all the diversity of its culture.

Each day provides opportunities to explore landscapes, examine the art and architecture that has sprung from that same environment, get a close up look at the land use and sample the food and wine that comes from the soils that we have crossed. There may be chance encounters with wildlife and the flora of the region. Behind everything is the layering of history and tradition that has made Europe such a culturally diverse continent.
