History

Duende Travel Limited was begun by Peter Watson and Kate Littlewood in 1995 in order to create the finest quality cultural walking tours in Western Europe. We work with some of the leading educational establishments across the English speaking world whose specific needs require a bespoke service commensurate with the standards of their own organizations. We are able to provide both the quality of trip and the academic expertise that they demand.

Our portfolio of trips, which is always expanding, ranges from short trips in isolated and remote regions with excellent walking based on accommodation in small country inns right up to classic itineraries along pilgrimage routes or through historically significant regions. The walks can be seen as an introduction to a specific country or region or as a themed trip exploring a specific idea.
